New Balance 768 Running Shoes for Men:

I’ll start it off with my review of the 768’s made by New Balance. I’ve used New Balance before as they’re they’re often recommended but these pair of shoes exceeded my expectations. My first impression of the shoes were pretty good. On my first run, I immediately noticed the heel support/shock absorption they have. I’m overweight so when I run, most of the problems I encounter are in my knees. With these shoes, however, I noticed less stress on my knees, so I was able to push myself a bit further. Another great feature about them is that they are well ventilated. This is a Godsend for those hot days. If you’ve ever gone running on a hot day, you’ll know that your feet can seem like 2 little blazing furnaces, especially when running on concrete. The mesh upper helps this out tremendously so to say the least, the 768’s breathe!

Another cool little thing that is often overlooked are the shoe laces. New Balance has made what they call the Nlock lacing system which is basically laces that have small lumps all throughout. These lumps allow the laces to stay securely locked into place. This was actually a much appreciated feature that I hope to see more often in all of their shoes. Also, I have a slightly wide foot and I noticed that they fit just fine in terms of width.

All in all, I love the 768’s and find myself wearing them even when I don’t go running as they’re great for everyday use. I find myself wanting to wear them more often. They retail between $90-$100 a pair and are well worth it!

Here’s a New Balance YouTube video that showcases the footware technologies delivered in the 768’s:

  1. These are the best shoes that I have ever owned. I am a over-pronator and need the right shoes. I have used many but have found these shoes to be the best for me. I wear a B width and New Balance is the only company that offers a complete line of widths in all of their shoes. Kudos to New Balance.
