30 Day Challenge
Accept the challenges so that you may feel the exhilaration of victory.”
~ General George S. Patton
Hello fellas, with introductions taken care of, now let us focus our attention on developing a foundation. Notice, I said “developing” which means this will require hard work. A process, your fitness is worth more than quick fixes and phony fad diets! Are you ready?
Here is a video called “8 min abs.” Allow me to give you the background on this video. Last year, at the end of the semester, a few friends introduced me to this video.
All three of us attempted the video that night. Let me be honest with you, I do not know how I made it through. I remember being sore the following day. If you commit to this challenge, you may be sore the next day.
Five months later, I’m still doing the 8 min abs workout. Of course I’ve put my own little tweak on it when necessary.
The Challenge
Using the video as your guide, commit to doing the “8 min abs” workout at least six times per week over the next month. I know, sounds great but at least you have one day off.
Payoff
For me, the payoff is a stronger core, improved performance in just about every aspect of my life. Also, having a stronger core may help to prevent lower back problems.
Please listen carefully, you will hear me say this often. Everyone has different specific needs, what works for me (others) may not always work for you.
This is one of the most important things you need to remember. This rule applies both to trainers and clients.
Participation:
Please let me know if you are committing to the challenge. We will keep each other accountable. Lastly, do not forget to share your struggles and victories with us.
Consistency, we all need it, few have it.

Now were talking!! I’ll take this challenge. I’ve been looking for some form of exercise to do at home. We’ll see how it goes. I’m nervous!
Hey Jacob
Another nice thing about this workout is having the option to exercise at home. I’ve learned how to not be dependent upon the gym. I’ll suggest some tips about that later.
Hey Jacob, how is everything coming along? Did you attempt the workout yet? Spread the word about the challenge to the other men here at ‘this is not a diet.” Thanks!
